Originally put together fifteen years ago this circuit has withstood the test of time. A simple minimalist trail to cater to all user groups. This circuit continues to provide this platform to the commercial and recreational markets, with no realigments or rebuilds. Dirty Detours, Margaret River MTB Tours, and the Cape to Cape race all hold the Boranup circuit as a central component of their packages.

Magic Dirt had a major involvement with the design and the construction of the original Pines circuit. The original designs proved popular till the scheduled felling of the area saw their demise. Even before the last tree had fallen, Magic Dirt was designing and constructing The Pines Mk 2. Many similar alignments to the original but bigger, faster and way betterer. wooditjup trails
Magic Dirt was the co-builder with Common Ground on the Compartment 10 trails. “Bender” and “Pugsley” were both designed and constructed by Magic Dirt, as well as several of the ascents. Pugsley included Margaret Rivers first wall ride and was built as pure fun flow, with Bender aimed more at technical flow. Magic Dirt has been busy adding extra zing to the circuit for the past two years as the tendered maintenance contractor.
